Hilton Worldwide has commenced management of Jordan’s Dead Sea King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre, one of the largest convention centre’s in the Middle East region. The reflagged convention centre will now operate under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand.

Hilton Worldwide today announced the launch of the “Magical Nights Away”, the company’s promotion for leisure travelers during the Eid and Ramadan season. Guests can save up to 33 percent off hotel room stays completed between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30, 2010. A report released by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Department (SCTDA) indicates that the total number of guests staying in Sharjah’s hotel apartments in the month of July reached 68,363, a 14 percent increase as compared to the 59,888 guests reported for the corresponding period last year.
